Chicago Comedy's Best of 2006

Also, we're still abuzz after rubbing elbows with Zach Galifianakis at Weeds on Tuesday night. Everyone we know who was there is sure they made a sloppy, drunky fool of themselves while chatting with ZG. One of our correspondents managed to snag a great interview with him, and we'll be putting that MP3 up shortly. Until then, enjoy Schadenfreude's hilarious Choose Your Own Adventure Holiday Card (two months in the making), and some Zach videos.

moses. Pat Brice, TJ Miller, Brady Novak, and Robert Buscemi are not the types who benefit from awards. I think "best use of Burlesque" is perhaps the dumbest category - Why don't you just reword it to "Best Show on Thursday at Fizz" - otherwise I'd like to hear about another use of burlesque.
Awards.............contests............ugh

You should create a "Best Internet Radio" category, even if only for Mike D. and the Red Bar Radio.
Posted by: Marcel | December 27, 2006 8:57 AM
We did, kiddo. it was inadvertently left off originally, but it's there now. Obviously, I love Red Bar, but I also love several other Internet radio shows that are Chicago comedy-centric. Hopefully audiences in the country and around the world will get on board with the many facets of talent Chicago has to offer.
Point being, the category IS there, so go ahead and nominate your favorite(s).
