Time Out to Chicago Comedy: Start on Time!
Time Out is ready to throw down! Its message to Chicago comedy: "Producers of comedy shows! Your lazy producing-slash–show running approach is getting to us. If you say the show starts at 8pm, and you advertise the hell out of that fact, than there shouldn’t be any question. As far as the comics, it’s time to be adults and be punctual. You guys want recognition as a legit comedy operation…when was the last time you went to Second City or (here it comes!) Zanies, and they started an hour late because they were 'waiting for the audience to build,' or the 'comics hadn’t shown up yet? Never."
